The mummy which has been identified as Seqenenre Tao II is that of a man who was killed in a similar )manner to Ishbaal. Except Ishbaal was buried separately from his head. Was his head returned to his body at a later time? I can't remember.
As I stated earlier, I think the mummy was mislabelled in antiquity and actually belongs to Amenhotep I. (Further, the mummy identified as Amenhotep II and actually found in his coffin, is probably misidentified. Amenhotep II is actually probably the mummy identified as Siptah). Of course this is all coming from me and not from any actual archaeologist. Does it hurt your comparison if the mummy is A-I instead of Seqenenre?
Concerning the Hyksos, I don't agree with the current proposed history because it is an amalgamation of statements which actually apply to at least two and possibly three separate groups of people:
1. The group of shepherds who were driven out of Egypt by Ahmose. As I have said, Ahmose was the pharaoh who promoted Joseph. These shepherds were driven out while Joseph was still in prison. Remember Joseph told his brothers not to mention they were shepherds, because shepherds were an abomination to the Egyptians.
2. The Hebrews themselves, particularly the descendents of Joseph, who ruled in Egypt for a few generations. These were the "Shepherd Kings"
3. The Amalekites, who may have been raiding Egypt at some point after the Exodus. When David was pursuing the Amalekites who had raided Ziklag, he captured a slave of one of the Amalekites. This slave was an Egyptian.
