Thanks for your comments! Much of this is quite new to me and I guess IŽll need to contemplate it a little more, as I continue to read your online book (IŽve only arrived at Chapter 20 so far).
Maybe, after all, the Hebrew Bible can be said to be a combination of myth, "chronicles in disguise", and religious stories about God and man?
Anyway, I think this issue of why the Hebrew Bible books were written in the strange way they were, is a very central and important issue that needs to be as fully understood as possible.
