Thank you for the link to your book review. I found it very interesting.
The idea of a Near East Post-Ice Age colonization by royal refugees from a Far East Ice Age "Atlantis" is very much in line with my own thinking. The great ancient river civilizations from India to Egypt all seem to have come from the east, while the ancestors of the native peoples of Oceania and the Americas seem to have come from the west. This indicates a common Ice Age source culture in what we call the Far East, perhaps situated in by now submerged land areas in the South China Sea and around what is now the Indonesian islands.
Such is the view suggested by Arysio Nunes dos Santos at his website: http://www.atlan.org/
Maybe the royalty and nobles of such an advanced Ice Age civilization spread both eastward and westward in search of safer land. Settling in lofty areas they then gradually moved down the slopes along the great rivers, forming various civiliztions built upon their then already ancient cultural heritage.
In my opinion this view is far more plausible and less far-fetched than any theories of supposed extra-terrestrial "gods" landing their space ships on some terrestrial mountain.
Best regards, Helge
