El–Charles, El-REB and El-Todos,

1- Here you have an example in which Sethi I (not Sethi II) is named “Sethi-Merneptah”:
http://www.reshafim.org.il/ad/egypt/seticampaign.htm

I see that Sethi I is generally named as Sethi-Mernetaph in reports of his battles against Shasu.

2- I think that Pharaoh of Exodus according to Manetho is Sethi I (alias Amenophis, which could be a corruption of “Ameneftes”, Merneptah, in this case and not a transliteration of “Amenhotep”). The son of Ramses II (Merneptah or Meneptah, because “r” generally was not pronounced in ancient Egyptian) is named Ameneftes in Manetho’s list . This idea is consistent with Osman’s dating of Exodus in Year 1 of Sethi I. The last Amenophis of Manetho can not be neither Amenhotep III (because he appears as Horus in the list) neither Amenhotep IV (because he appears as Akhenkeres).

3- Here I propose another relationship for Queen Tiye. Everybody think that she is the daughter of Yuya and Tuya. Tuya was “King's Ornament” (i. e. lover) of Thutmosis IV. I suggest that Tiye’s biological father could be Thutmosis IV and not Yuya (who could be her foster father).

El-Oscar
