Not sure of its relevance, but here goes...It seems (perhaps obvious to some) that there are themes of expatriation from Sumer to Eqypt at the foundation of the Old Testament accounts, which also seem to parralel eqyptian dynastic history.
There appears to be a direct relation to the "post-dilevuian" generations and the early eqyptian dynastic period and in addition the migration of the "hebrew" line through Abraham following apparent disharmony in Ur.
Seems to me that "Isrealites" ie. desendents of Jacob/Israel are all full blooded Sumeraian by way of a conjoinment of bloodline in Eqypty after a 2,000 yr period of time (rough estimate of time between the early dynastic period and the late 18th dynasty).
Why then all the distinction between eqyptians "at-large" and isrealites of the same period....seems to me to be like distinguising in modern day America between "desendents of italians (or any other ethnic group) migrating to the US in the late 19th/early 20th century" and "desendents of italians (or any other ethnic group) migrating to the US in the late 20th century/ early 21st century".
