Arioch, Zeeb, and Assyria

Fascinating!

As I noted in a recent post, the name of Arioch, that of an Assyrian king found in the Book of Genesis, connotes "lion" in Hebrew and has "Judah" (Horus the Elder) associations. The name given this same king in Judges is Zeeb, "to be yellow, a wolf".
