Everyone is a teacher
In Response To: Melchizedek and Persia ()

Some teach what to do...others what not to do...

Your initial post on this thread hit me like a bolt of lightning....

It has got me on this kick of first and second coming again...

Let's say the christ story' is the description of events, whose purpose (atleast one of its purposes) was to simplfy the royal drama....if you turned that on its head it might look like the first recognition of the need to grow the masses ability to participate in leadership and wealth....

But, the infrastructure was non-existant, no chance of expanding and sharing wealth without some governmental stability and means of public information distribution...ok...

That's the first coming...the concept that the process of democracy and wealth distribution must happen..2,000 years later it has not yet been fulfilled...but continues to be a work in progress...

There may also be embedded in the story a revelation regarding the possibility of the spiritual nature of man...his indestructability on the level of essence and consciousness. That being the case, the allegorical description of "healing the blind and deaf" and "raising the dead" become the product of the distribution of The Word...as opposed to the literal....

To many thoughts crossing my head right now....Will sort thru some more...thanks for your patience Charles, et.al
