Something else to consider ...
The Linus named after Peter as the second Bishop of Rome (in the list of Irenaeus) may not have been the Linus referred to in 2 Timothy 4:21, but Paulinus (Paul/Saul) himself. If so, then Paul lived at least until 70 AD, that is, he survived the year (69 AD) of the four emperors and the death of Peter in 70 AD.
