Maybe I should have said that the "Iberian Peninsula" was / is considered Spain! What we have here is a problem also shared by the use of the word Chersonese!

Thus, another peninsula! And numerous places were sometimes refered to as Chersonese! The Black Sea and the Aegean Seas both have one! So, when ever a deposed king or rebel was sent to Cherson, just where was he sent?
These are problems that have to be entertained! And they really have nothing to do with my revisionist stance!
