Both the OT and DomainOfMan deal with the royal families from the entire Middle East / Near East / Mediterranean region. At times the dominant powers were Persian, other times Babylonian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman. The ruling families ALWAYS intermarried, just like today.
So though there would be some genetic tie to local populations (eg. Moses and Solomon each had Ethiopian wives), the ruling classes were pan-national overlords, "Gods" if you will. The earlier Egyptian dynasties were likely, on average, more "African" than later ones.
