Charles, is it possible there is another reason that so many of the great leaders did not produce children? Was it really a problem with inbreeding? Or, was it a product of their own position? That is, were they really products of a "castrated" shall I say "caste?" Or were they made "chaste" or incapable of reproducing heirs because they assumed the position as head of religion? That is becoming the equivalent of High Priest and King? Or in Rome Pontius Maximus? There exists some argument about whether Julius Caesar actually took the position of Pontius Maximus! Certainly there is no reason why these men still might retain a sex drive, and thus marry, etc., but reproduction was prevented because they were also considered as divine?
