Striving for Consistency

Robert Eisenman likewise notes the confusion between Martha and Mariamne/Mary.

Although the names are interchangeable, it's necessary to stick with a convention. I go with the one of the Gospels, that is, Jesus raises Lazarus (Simon Magus/Tigranes) the "brother" of Mary (Salome/Magdalene) and Martha. Martha was the true sister of Lazarus. Mary Magdalene was a close relative, a "sister" only in royal jargon, and married to Jesus (Aristobulus III/Alexander) after the death of her first husband John the Baptist (Philip II). After Jesus died, she married another Jesus (ben Gamala).

Incest, a game the entire royal family could play!
