If we consider my previous post, then why can we not consider that Babylon was a city in Egypt, and one city (pick your choice?) that was the satrap capital of Persia, and the other was a part of the Greek settlements of the delta, so Jerusalem might well have been Alexandria?
Certainly, in many instances, we really do not know just what area had the name of Egypt? More than likely, at least to me, it would be the part located N. of Memphis!
The delta might well have been called "the isles", especially during flood season? Thus the occupants of that area would be or could have been "the people of the Isles?"
