Having babies is hard work and dangerous!
We, in Chicago, had a Cleopatra exhibit a few years ago. Only a woman who never actually had children (or a man of course), could think her life much of a picnic!
I told my wife as we left the exhibit that Cleo was quite a trooper! Taking the personal risk of getting pregnant all the time for every stud who came by is actually not very rational if you think about it. Having your earlier children murdered by the latest stud could not have been very gratifying! (Caesarion) Life treated her quite unfairly! It was a pretty horrible world after all! That world is what the earliest Christians wre fighting against even though they didn't understand that the odds and the royal family were against them.
Hope for a better world as the truth gets out!
Good going Charles!
