I am somewhat surprised that no one responded to my question? Surely some one on this list is, if not fluent in Latin, might be able to make an alternative translation to the following;
""IMP. CAESAR. DIVI. NERVAE. F
NERVA TRAIANVS. AVG. GERM
PONTIF MAXIMUS TRIB POT IIII
PATER PATRIAE COS III
MONTIBVUS EXCISIs ANCOniBVS
Such as; "the Imperial War General, who is like Nerva, the divine! And, from Nerva the Tyrannt,who was a Godlike (or God-fearing) German (or cousin), who became the High Priest of our land in the forth degree! He was like a father's father, Cosomo III, who moved mountains of rock, and used wood to make crossings!"
Certainly some one of you has a better idea?
