The material you refer to is apochryphal in nature.
This kind of material is easy to dismiss and is based on confused and garbled memories.
There were many Jacobs in royal history, as well as many Benjamins. Most would have had sisters, some did not. The origin of biblical and extra-biblical stories becomes clear when it is recognized that the Patriarchs were all members of the ruling house.
