Re: The Pyramids and Chronology Reloaded

Your last comment helps me out....if the Old Kingdom pharaoh’s simply "spruced" up the giza pyramids that would reconcile several issues for me.....the key one...and the one shot through with the most insanity and absolutely wafer thin empirical evidence is that a race of persons with superior technologies....predating the pharonic period constructed the giza pyramids and the sphinx....this presumption is much more palatable if we are "rolling" up the old kingdom to they late second millennia bce...v. the traditional 4th millennia date...if we keep the older date for the pharonic period it is very tempting to link the giza pyramids and sphinx as original construction projects of the old kingdom....which from the standpoint of common sense strains the mind....

I am for the moment content (as I do not see a clear path of study or investigation) that would yield practical benefits from searching for the original builders...but perhaps this path will reveal itself at the right time..

I have another interest in these inquiries...and it stems from the dating of the Hebrew calendar.....tying the biblical character of Noah and his immediate decedents to the 1st dynasty supports the Hebrew timeline of 5,800 yrs...Laurence Gardner's model was convincing but I guess I need to go back and take another look at that info....Also, in his work Bloodline of the Holy Grail....did I miss something or does he suggest that Josephus was the son of Jesus and Mary Magdalene....I think he does....

As to your point on academia being in denial....no doubt....a lot of "self" tied up in the existing paradigm....perhaps the collective has not yet reached sufficient enough pitiful and incomprehensible demoralization sufficient to result in a complete psychic change......it is easy for me to spot the defects in others...and difficult if not impossible to see them in myself !!! Oh well… easy does it!!!
