I. A very interesting person who fits into Mr. Pope’s timeline was the “Law Maker”; Solon (638-558 BC) who was known as one of the “Seven Wise Men” and had spent time in Carthage, Egypt and Lydia.
II. Mitraim and Mithra remind us of “Misraim”.
III. Mithra killing a bull sounds a lot like Cambyses II killing the Apis bull. Cambyses II was indeed related to Perseus.
