The White Sea

Hi,

The Baltic Sea actually means the "White Sea" (as opposed to the "Black Sea"). Baltic means "white". The Baltic peoples (Latvians and Lithuanians) have a very ancient cultural heritage and language. Lithuania was the last country in Europe to become christianized and the Balts have retained a lot of their old ways.

Here are some suggestions that the Baltic peoples long ago might have been closely related to the ancient Sumerians:
