It seems the question must be asked? Mohammad was apparently associated in some way with the Jewish elite (Koraish) of Mecca prior to starting his own religion. And if he was Jewish, what did that mean in Mecca? Was he Jewish like Joseph ben Tobias? (That is, a person from a royal family posing as a Jew for political advantage.) But perhaps this topic is too emotional to be discussed here.
I am not interested in current political issues, disputes over territory in Palestine/Israel, or whether Judaism, Islam, or Christianity is the best religion or guilty of the worst crimes against humanity.
This is an ancient history web site, and particularly a site devoted to my own model of ancient history. At DomainOfMan "I am the man". So give it up for your man, or just give it up!
