Zerubbabel and Co. carried with them objects from the ruined temple of Jerusalem in Egypt to be placed in a new/restored temple in Israel. This was probably a temple of Amen (or the equivalent) that already existed in Israel but was in disrepair. There was an analogous process that occurred when the temple of Jerusalem in Israel was later destroyed and the same or similar objects of that temple were carried off to yet another temple in Rome.
