70 Years in Babylon
In Response To: Re: Abraham and Sin ()

The 70-year Hyksos Period seems also to match a 70-year Dynasty of Sargon the Great. That is, it was perhaps about 70 years from the founding of the new world capital of Agade in Babylon (a transfer of the primary royal court from Old Kingdom Egypt to Mesopotamia) to the founding of the Egyptian Middle Kingdom by his descendant Nam-hani/Hanu/Amenemhet I (which amounted to a transfer back to Egypt). See book chart 15.
