I certainly agree that the rule of the shepard kings?, are one of Egypts greatest secrets. Since the late 1890's and today, about 400 years of their so called rule has been stricken from the record. I believe the last period accorded to them by the current establishment is about 180 years, maybe less, from the original guess of 400 to 600 years.
It seems the longer modern archaeoligists and historians work on the dynastic lists, the less time is accorded to the Hyskos!
Their rule essentially has been regulated to the "dark ages", and I suspect their period of rule will eventualy shrink to something like the "Babylonian captivity", or 70-80 years!
