After Terah and Abram were deposed in Babylon they castled to Harran. This would have been considered an immitation of the beleaguered god Sin. Not sure however if it was Abram or Terah whose typecasting was the closest to that of the much earlier Sin.
Sometime I'd like to revisit the Hyksos Period like we have recently being doing the Old Kingdom. For example, knowing what we know now, I'd like to look at "the battle of the four kings against five" in Genesis 14 and re-examine the names and typecasting of each of the participants. That should be very illuminating! One thing at a time though.
