But, Fomenko has little to do with the tradition that is prevalent in Istanbul, and Turkey in general, that the site of Jesus' death and tomb, is located on the Asian side of the straits, right across from Istambul (any guide can take you right to the spot), and the other is their claim that Mary lived outside of Ephesus after the death of her son (been there and saw it)!
Thus this area falls into the purvue of the discussion, and the development of the early church. At least this is my argument! LOL
