Interesting, I would ask if any of you figure that the "cities of refuge" were walled? The very idea of such places seems to indicate they were "free cities", and therefore not subject to kings, etc. It is also interesting that Arabic, does not seem to have the great changes of language, spelling, etc., that western languages have exibited (see old/middle English, Frisian, German, French, etc.) because even today peace in Arabic as well as Hebrew is the same word!
