Interpreting Herodian Astrology
In Response To: Re: Star of Bethlehem ()

So, there was a conjunction of Jupiter (Ninhursag/Naphtali) and Saturn (Geb/Reuben) in 7 B.C. with Mars (Horus/Benjamin) nearby as "offspring" of the "holy birth". Then in the spring of 5 B.C. there was a comet or nova in the constellation of Capricorn (House of Ptah/Joseph). That summer came the actual birth of Jesus to Mary (of the house of Joseph) in Bethlehem (literally, "House of Bread", that is, zodiacal Cancer). It was all capped by the "sign" of a planet or other celestial object above the constellation of Cancer.

Not a bad fireworks show for the new Herodian Savior.
