What strikes me as suspicious about the Book of Enoch is that it relates to the second line of Adam through Seth rather than the much earlier line through Cain. This, at least according to my model, would give it an Egyptian Middle Kingdom context. The Flood referred to in the Book of Enoch would also seem to relate to the "Great Flood" that ended the Middle Kingdom. So what are we to make of this? My gut reaction is that the Book of Enoch is a very late and confused work.
