Thanks for the comments on the blessings of Jacob and the Zodiac, and for the links you´ve provided. I´ll study them carefully and then maybe make some comments on them later on.
You cannot "reform" the very movements of the Sun, Moon, and planets, nor the circle of the Zodiac, which follows (astro)logically and mathematically from sacred numerolgy and which is as time-proven as can be. As I pointed out in my previous message, astrology like mathematics must be discovered by man, not invented. It´s already there.
There is an unequivocal relationship between the planets (including Sun & Moon) and the Zodiac signs. Each planet rules - i.e. expresses itself most excellent within - one or two of the signs. The Sun and Moon rule Leo and Cancer respectively. Next, Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo. Venus expresses herself best in Taurus and Libra, Mars in Aries and Scorpio, Jupiter in Sagittarius and Pisces, and Saturn, finally, in Capricorn and Aquarius. As you can see, there´s a perfect pattern involved in this.
Modern astrology, recognizing the outer planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, attributes Uranus to Aquarius, Neptune to Pisces, and Pluto to Scorpio. But this does not alter the original pattern, it only modifies it a bit, since these outer planets are viewed merely as "higher octaves" of the inner ones.
Now, mythically each planet is equivalent to a "god" of antiquity. So the relationship of the "seven gods" to the twelve signs or constellations is already established and fixed:
Sun - Leo
Moon - Cancer
Mercury - Gemini & Virgo
Venus - Taurus & Libra
Mars - Aries & Scorpio
Jupiter - Sagittarius & Pisces
Saturn - Capricorn & Aquarius
I think you´ll have to look at it this way - or you might mess it all up.
Look at it: You have gods/patriarchs/sons/tribes that you want to map onto the Zodiac signs. The problem is, that the "gods" are ALREADY mythically and astrologically mapped unto the constellations in a perfect pattern. If you want to attribute a certain "son/tribe" to a certain Zodiac sign, you have to consider this fact.
For example, you match Benjamin with Aries. Good! Since this son/tribe seems to have a lot of Mars quality within him/it. And since you associate Judah with Leo there must be a lot of "Sun quality" in this Judah, and so forth. However, when you match Cain/Gad/Anu/Uranus with Taurus, then this patriarch/tribe/god ought to have a lot of "Venus qualities" in him/it. But does he/it? Likewise he/it should have an earthly quality, since the sign Taurus is fixed (immovable) earth. But heaven is air and movement!
And so on.
Or do you prefer to change the movements of the Sun, Moon, and planets, to alter the very ebbings and flowings that lie at the heart of creation itself?
Best regards, Helge
