I have not seen Ellis' "Eden in Egypt". In general I find his books very interesting because of his original thinking. Unfortunately I also find very little that amounts to an actual historical or scientific finding. Ellis has published a number of books in the past several years in rapid succession. But the quality of his work just doesn't match the quantity. Still he is worth reading. I have been more critical of him in the past, but decided to back off. He is at least trying.
