I would really appreciate it, Alain, if you would change the article you wrote on Abraham to remove something you mistakenly attributed to me. You write: "In fact, Ms Lisa Liel equates Abraham with Menes, the so-called founder of the 1st Dynasty, or at least puts him in the same period." The reservation after the comma does not make the beginning of this statement any less false. I have never even hinted that Abraham was ever a king of Egypt. It's patently obvious, in fact, that he was not.
I have received e-mails from people who found your page through a search engine and then wrote to me asking me one what basis I thought Abraham might have been Menes.
Please do me the courtesy of correcting this statement.
