Many thanks for your detailed reply. No doubt it will be very useful if special emphasis is made on Abraham and his composite identity is analyzed in some detail as for Jesus and Moses. I wonder if Osman's next book will be on Abraham! Personally I have no problem with Djehuty as he seems to satisfy all the requirements. My post was intended esentially for Erol Asya and his reference to MamAyBre. I am aware that Ellis is no academic but he seems to be well in tune with public interest in terms of both subject matter and style of writing.
