Archaeology Magazine has a couple of interesting articles.
One presents new archaeology from Inda that indicates the Tora Volcanic eruption of 74,000 was not as devastating as previously thought. It did not bring an end to the first wave of humans "out of Africa" around 100,000 years ago.
Another is called "The New Bronze Age" and theorizes about a first "globalized economy" around 5,000 years ago.
