The Masons, only recently sweating bullets and opening their doors and kimonos to the public, must be letting out a huge sigh of relief! There is also no mention in the book about the rumored treachery of George Washington during the revolution. Has Dan Brown gone soft now that he's hit the big time? Is he now only willing to produce "socially responsible fiction"? And how do we really know that "The Lost Symbol" is fiction? Most of the plot action takes place during a Redskins HOME playoff game. Talk about a fantasy!!
