Strangely, the book's co-author Bob Brier (of Egyptian mummy investigation fame) isn't all that convinced. However, the theory is based on the assumption that the Great Pyramid was built during the reign of Khufu by paid workers, which gained for it Zahi Hawass' stamp of (qualified) approval.
