Would you say then that Khufu has been bludgeoned with a Louisville slugger?
He (the earlier Khufu/Re, not the one in the 4th Dynasty) was in fact buried alive inside the Great Pyramid, but his fellow mobsters thought better of it after three days and pulled him back out. Hence, the tradition of the "empty tomb". The sarcophogus is still there but the lid is "rolled away". Halleluia! He is risen! Glory to rotten Aten in the highest!
