Beating khufu to death again !!!!
The economics of the fourth dynasty cause the scope of the project to by highly improbable for them to have undertaken and complte....multi-generational higher learning disciplines, educational systems, the commitment of overwhelming percentages of likely GDP......
Its the handcutting of the stone that creates the largest cost for the project if its not made of concrete....based on the traditional understanding of technology (ie, hand held tools) my calc was it was a 50 year project with a daily workforce of 15,000.
In today's terms, not considering union wages, its a $70 Billion project....supported by an economic engine the size of Louisville, Kentucky....aint gonna happen !!!
I think the real revalation is apparent...its the connection between ancient concrete technology, union labor and the disappearance of hoffa!!!
