Hey Charles (Pope and Wilson):
Any thoughts on why Acts focuses on two seemingly contradictory ideas?
1) Christians remain faithful to Jewish practices
2) Jews reject Christian teaching (and to it goes to the gentiles etc)
Got no response at CM to this. It just seems a bit odd (from ANY viewpoint that assumes zero divine inspiration in the NT, in my opinion). What could possibly be the intent of BOTH of these ideas targeting the same people?
If the answer is commonly know, sorry to bug you.
