Amun was the dominant cult associated with the Exodus at the end of the 12th Dynasty under Auibre Hor/Hammurabi. Aton was the dominant cult of those led out by Akhenaten at the end of the 18th Dynasty.
The Torah was written from the perspective of those that ruled over the descendants of both groups. The Biblical Exodus account does do a credible job of combining aspects of both major Exodus events, and perhaps even contains traces of other Moses figures that arose during the dynastic era in Egypt.
