This is probably true, part of an inscription of Sennacherib reads: "A park, the image of Mount Amanus, in which all kinds of spices, fruit trees and timber trees, the sustinence of the mountains and Chaldea, I had collected and planted them next to my palace (in Nineveh)." p 228 Gwendolyn Leick, "Mesopotamia, The invention of the City"
