I also saw the bit on Imhoteps tomb. Pretty neat, there really is a lot left in Egypt to be dug up - amazing!

One of my pet theories much debunked is that Pharoah Narmer was the biblical Nimrod and that he conquered mesopotamia, what was left of it even in 3,000BC. The Egyptian Pharoah's populated the ancient world's cities with their sons who were supposed to come back to Egypt either when they took the Pharoahship - or died. That is why there is so many tombs in Egypt. That is why the Assyrians, Persians, the Macedonian Greeks, and the Romans all conquered Egypt. It was the land of their fathers.

Well that's my guess anyway.
