Eunuchs, whether castrated or not, or what ever the term "Eunuch" meant at different points in history, tend to muddy a lot of waters. I would love to see the evidence that removes Egyptian royalty from dependency upon Eunuchs? Is the only evidence that they had wives?

Certainly from what evidence can we assume that eunuchs were not married? Depending upon many circumstances, many eunuchs, it seems, were only castrated after reaching adulthood, becoming a captive of another etc., some it seems were willing to have the act performed, and for others, it might well have seemed a suitable punishment. In the above circumstances, these men might well alrady be married, and stayed married!
